I am a big kid now

I feel like I have grown this year. I finally read more than 2 books and did activities when reading them to help me understand it better. I have grown as a person and I kind of care a little more about my grammar so I can sound like I am smart. I have accomplished to read Romeo and Juliet and I am proud about that because I know that is not the easiest thing to do. I want to get better at reading and enjoy it more. I am different because I am 15 years old now.

Love Moderatley

The advice that Friar Lawrence gives to romeo i think is great advice. Loving moderately is good because you still need to care for others around you and not just care for her. Yes you need to love your wife a lot but also admire others around you.  I think Romeo and Juliet will take this advice because Friar Lawrence was a big part in this marriage so romeo will take the advice so it will be a good marriage. They won’t have to do much just relax and it will be moderate.

Hatred

To be honest I don’t really hate anybody strongly at this school and so far in my life. There are people that annoy me but I don’t hate them because they aren’t really that important to me and I am not going to let them ruin me by them annoying me. Types of people that bug me are the ones that try and get attention and just aren’t nice to people for no reason. Maybe one day when I am older and associate with a lot more people then I do right now hate might grow but for right now I don’t have any good reason to strongly hate someone.

Shakespeare?

I think that they should keep teaching Shakespeare. Because its like its a tradition to teach it. Many people say it is confusing and difficult to read but that could also make you a better reader. And even though it is from a long time ago, it still talks about insecurities and emotions that teenagers struggle with today. It teaches us to look through a window and not a mirror when we reflect on life and to try new things. Those are just some reason that I think they should keep teaching Shakespeare in modern day.

Everything I Know or Think I Know About Shakespear

Shakespeare is a writer that I haven’t read much of but, I hear that he is a great writer but very hard to get used to and understand. He has many plays that many people have enjoyed. I also have a hard time reading his stuff because he was born a long time ago so some of the words he writes are hard to understand and we don’t use in today’s world. I am glad that Mr. Green is giving us the opportunity to read Shakespeare because it will help us learn a lot about literature and how we can improve our writing skills.

How I Will Dominate During Term 4

I will dominate during term 4 by being more engaged. This last term I felt like I did alright but I feel like I could’ve done much better if I would’ve cared a little more. I’m going to try and do all of the assignments and not miss much school so I can get all my assignments on time. I will also try harder to be more involved in class discussions . Last term I felt like I didn’t try to be involved as much as I could have in class discussions. Those are some of the things I will do to dominate this term.

How I feel about to To Kill a Mockingbird

It was a good book. At the start of this book I thought I was going to hate it but then I was able to understand it and enjoy it. The story was good and it taught a good message. It was also enjoyable because we were able to read the book and then compare and contrast with the movie. Watching the movie was enjoyable because we got to see a visual of all the things we were writing down and imagining in our heads. Overall I think that it was a good time reading this book and being able to enjoy something that you thought you were going to hate.

Good Stuff from To Kill a Mockingbird

In To Kill a Mockingbird, on page 246 Miss Maudie said “We’re making a step.” It’s just a baby-step, but it’s a step”. I like how this is said because in life many people think of the big picture but we really need to focus on the little things that can get us to our final destination quicker. If you can focus on the little things it can help you grow to be a better person and make you someone that you never thought you could be. I am going to try to look at the little things so I can have a better outcome and grow as a person.

An Authority on Courage and Integrity

The person that comes to my mind is my dad. And sometimes in life it can be very hard to do the right thing and sometimes you just want to give up. Well I know that if we work hard at what we want then we can accomplish it. I always try to to do the right thing so it can become a habit and I am always doing my best. So when you are in a rough situation just remember that if you try your best and work hard only good can come from it. Having Authority on courage and integrity is a great trait and if you have it, it can help you.

Blind Spots

I think that Mr. Cunningham does have some blind spots. He sounds like someone that works hard and is honest and tries to be nice to many people. I think that when he showed up to murder Tom Robinson, it was a very bad mistake. But also that is how things were back then. Black’s going really do much to the white people and get away with it. That is for sure one blind spot that he has. So at the start of the book he gave you a thought that he was a good man but now that we wants to murder someone kind of gives you a different look on him.
