The school year is almost over and I feel like I have accomplished a lot. At the beginning of the year I didn’t care about my grades that much. But now I have all A’s except for in math where I have always had a B+. I have like the subjects that I got to learn about in school and almost all of my teachers. I think I’m going to keep working hard on grades and turning things in on time. I also need to work on studying so I can do better on my tests. I have improved a lot in things that I wanted to this year which makes me happy. But their is still a lot of things I can improve on
Secrets are something that we all have had or have right now. Being completely upfront to someone is not normal. Most people are scared that the truth would scare people away or damage them more than the lies. And it seems like teenagers have more secrets than others. But I think that the reason they keep secrets is because they’re afraid of people judging them. A lot of the stress that results in suicide is from school. I have known a couple people who have killed themselves. And something some one told me that it was a permanent salutation to a temporary problem. The thing that drives people to do this isn’t worth death.
I think Friar Lawrence is trying to tell Romeo and Juliet that they are moving forward too fast in their relationship. Moving is to fast is always a stupid idea. Have you watched frozen? You could just fall in love with the guy that wants to kill you. Or you could pull a romeo and Juliet and kill yourself because your lover did it. We teenagers are stupid. We are trying to be independent before we have the rights to be independent so we make stupid choices. It is best to take things slowly and to find your love on your own time.
I hate groups of people but can’t really think of specific people I hate. But still I think myself and other hate others because we see them for one of the personal tribute. Or one thing that they may have done in there past. And because we focus so much on that one thing about them, we aren’t really able to see them as a person but as one of there flaws. But we too are humans and have many flaws of our own. We need to see people for more that something that they did in there past or some annoying personality trait of theirs.
I do not think that we should teach Shakespeare. Shakespeare is very outdated dialog that no one can really understand with out spending too much time going over it instead of learning about more diverse and useful things. I think its is better to read something that make sense rather than read something over and over again wasting time on it. Why should we waist time learning things that some old dead why dude wrote, instead we should be trying to focus on more diverse literature or more current works. Our time is always looking for the better things. Ways to make life easier, We should spend more time focusing on teaching current literature so that we can improve off of where we stand now.
I always have known about shake spear, like about his existence, but I never really knew too much about him. I have listened to summaries of some of his works and I have seen a movie based off of one, and I have been in a shake spear play. That being said I still have no clue who shake spear is and what he was like. I also don’t have any of his stories memorized, I can barely remember much ado about nothing (the play I was in) What I do kind of know is his style of writing and how confusing it can be at times. I am sure that I will be able to learn how to better understand his works and more about the story of Romeo and Juliet.
I think it is an important thing to be able to take a step back and look at your work because, you can grade yourself because of how hard you work and weather you think that that effort is enough to satisfy yours and others expectations. Being able to self assets is also good because you can use the skill for later in life, being able to see what you are good at and what you need work on is how you can find your passions and work to improve on them. Being able to see your flaws and try to find ways to improve and work on that is an important thing to do.

I think that I will set a few reachable goals. Like working on homework the day I get it rather than the night or morning or school day it is due. Also checking skyward and asking teachers whatever I can do to help my grade.I will keep all of my grades above a B+ and also will finish 3 more books so that I can get up to ten books this year. I know that it isn’t a lot but Its still a goal of mine I’m also going to try my best with my extra curricular activities. So yeah. 😛
It is a good overall book. It is fun when Mr Green helps us see the hidden meanings and connections through out the book. It has a good moral and lessons to learn. That being said it wasn’t my cup of tea. I normally enjoy action adventures or Sci Fi or fantasy which this book is the opposite. I did skim over some parts and had troubles fallowing along in just about every chapter. I am sure if I left more space in my brain for actually learning the characters names and more things about them It probably would have been a more enjoyable experience. If I was to rate it I would give it a 3 out of 5.
I picked the quote, “We’re making a step.” It’s just a baby-step, but it’s a step I think that this quote is significant because they are talking about how even the smallest changes they can make to this world will help change there views. I believe that this is how we can live our lives. We can make progress in small areas like the article we read earlier this year, the 1% gain. How even the smallest changes we can leave a big impact in our lives and in others. That is what they where talking about. Becuase even thought that case didn’t change how most white people viewed blacks, It still changed the outcome of there beliefs. in small ways.
