I don’t think that Shakespeare should be taught in schools any more. Because there are so many good authors that live now. Why don’t we ever hear about them in English class? Shakespeare was also sort of a wacky guy, he talks a lot about really weird things like, young love, suicide, and murder. We still could learn about Shakespeare but not nearly as much as we do right now. There are so many other authors that we could learn from instead of Shakespeare. There are so many authors that are very close to Shakespeare’s level of writing that we could read instead of Shakespeare.
I am pretty sure that Shakespeare was very poetic and, in my opinion, sometimes confusing. I don’t actually know that much about Shakespeare as a person, but I do know that he was a very good writer. I have only read a play be Shakespeare once before and I don’t really remember what it was about. While studying Shakespeare I expect to be slightly confused about what he is saying but as I look into the play more then I will understand what he is talking about. After reading about Shakespeare I expect to be able to write in a much better way than before.
You are able to get immediate feed back about how you did and what you need to do better. This helps in school because then you are able to use your time and not bother the teacher. You could also get more work done if you self evaluate your work. It also makes it so that when you are old and have a job you are able to evaluate your own work and you don’t have to go to your boss every time you want to know how you did. This is helpful at all times because you are able to be independent and you don’t need to rely on other to evaluate your work.
For me I think that I did pretty well in 1st-3rd term. I was able to understand concepts and things we did in class. But some things that I think that I should work on are getting my work turned in on time and doing any home work that was given in class. Some skills that I think that I should know are being able to summarize better because in my story I really like to explain the details of a story that I have read. One goal that I have is getting a 4.0 for my GPA in 4th term. The other goal that I have for 4th term is to finish the 50 book challenge.
I think that to kill a mocking bird was a good book but a lot of the stuff that it talked about is not related to us in this present time. Harper Lee is a good writer but it is a very old book and that is one reason I didn’t like it. But most of what Atticus says is inspiring and you can learn a lot from what he says and what advice he gives. If someone asked me about this book I think that I would say something like … I liked the book but there were some things in it that I didn’t like because of what they were dealing with.
The quote that I am going to talk about is the quote “‘It’s not time to worry yet,’ Atticus reassured him” (243). I like this quote because It shows that we still have time to go about our business and we don’t have to be worried about what will come and what has happened to others that is why it is important. something Else this quote brings up is that Atticus isn’t worried about anything that hasn’t happened. I like this quote because it helps me find peace that all will be alright in the end. It also shows how wise Atticus is and what he believes in.
This is in Cole Randolph’s (from the five kingdoms) perspective. When I am facing a difficult decision I think about what my friends would do and how much I would impact them if I chose a certain option. My friends always push me in the right direction so I listen to the little voices of them in my head and follow my gut. There have been many opportunities that I have had to go back to my house but I have declined them all just to help my friends in their problems and trials. You will be able to do more if you chose the right direction.
I am sort of neutral I feel like trying to murder somebody is crossing the line but I also think that many people think what they are doing is right for one reason or another. So I believe that there is good in ever one it just might take some time to see it in them. So I guess I am leaning more towards Atticus’s opinion here because I think that Mr. Cunningham still has lots of good in him. For example if he were straight up heart less then him and his group could have beat up everyone then still killed Tom but he didn’t.
Atticus is taking about looking at the problem from the other person’s point of view/ perspective. He is not talking about doing this literally but figuratively speaking. This will help scout because she will learn to see things as others see it. And it will also help her have more empathy towards other people. I do this because it helps me understand what others are going through, and how to deal with certain problems. This is helpful to me because I see what other are possibly seeing and how they would handle that problem. I think that this is a good skill to learn because it will help a lot in life.
I think that your belief window causes us to do many things in a specific way that is unique to every individual. Depending on what your belief window has on it will influence what choices you make in every decision. It is important to know what you believe in because then you could use that to help make decisions in all of your life. I think that our beliefs are formed from the very young ages of all of our lives. As we progress in life I think that our beliefs sort of evolve into newer versions of our beliefs. Our beliefs take action whenever we make a decision or relate something to another thing.
