“A Little Light in the Darkness”

Do I regret reading The Book Thief? No. Was it worth my time? Probably. Would I ever read it again? I have no idea what the future will bring.

Any light that I found was quickly smashed into a billion tiny pieces when Liesel “lost control” and bit Rudy’s dead face! I mean how hilarious is that! But in all seriousness, other than Liesel biting Rudy, there was no sunshine, no happiness, no Santa Claus.

Overall, I guess it was a good book. I don’t really know what more to write about it. I found the author’s writing style very interesting…

I read this book a few years ago and I thought it was very well written. I like how you wrote “there was no sunshine, no happiness, no Santa Claus.”
