Bhutan is a tiny, remote kingdom in the Himalayas between the giants of Asia, India and China.
The population is 750,000 people. Most people live near the capital city of Thimphu.
The capital city again Thimphu 114,551 people live there. The next most populated city is Phuentsholing there are approximately 27,658 people living there. One interesting place to visit Amo Chhu Crocodile Breeding Centere. The official language is Bhutanese. 12% of the population lives below the poverty line.
Energy usage per capita this is an average of 2,895 kWh. Bhutan could provide itself completely with self-produced energy. Bhutan’s main crop is rice. A common disease is Malaria from the mosquitos. The mos prominent religion is Vajrayana Buddhism.
