Week 6 Friday

week 6 4 week 6 5

Just a 2 day difference since the last pictures, but a lot of changes on the house! A lot more walls are up- both interior and exterior. Mr. Burdett wants the students to be working every moment of class like they would be if they were ‘on the job’ and it shows by the steady progress!

Stay tuned!

We have some great photos that show a lot more students hard at work during the early stages of construction on the house. The students are learning the entire construction process this year- from bidding materials- to excavating- pouring concrete- and now framing. The first month has been a big success!

Week 5 September 14th-18th

It has been a rainy week! Mr. Burdett told the classes to come ready to work rain or shine and that is just what the students did. We got a few pictures of the students working during a downpour Wednesday afternoon! They are all looking forward to having the walls built to protect them from the weather in the future!
