The population of Taiwan is currently 23.78 million, and most people live in Taipei, which is also the capital of Taiwan. They mainly speak Mandarin Chinese, and only 3.7% of Taiwan’s overall population is reported to be in poverty. Their main religions are Buddhism, Daoism (Taoism), and Christianity, with Buddhism being the largest. They do celebrate the Chinese new year, but it is called “The Golden Week”.

I choose Taiwan, I chose this country because it’s always intrigued me and made me want to learn more about it. I’m interested in finding out some of its cool secrets and about its food. I’m curious on what some of the cool places Taiwan to visit if I ever get the chance to go.
