Steelheart is one if the most scariest epics from a glance he is huge and powerful with a deep powerful voice that shakes the ground like thunder muscles that stretch almost an shirt he puts on he will not be stopped by anything he will obliterate anyone or anything that gets in his way but beneath all of that there is only a man scared alone that no one will ever truly know he is but my maybe relieved is the right word the truth is he was raised in a home with a loving mother and a father that was an abusive alcoholic that was almost double Steelhearts size his entire life at the age of 4 his mother tried to escape they where in the truck in the drive way when his father came home as she tried to throw the car in drive he parked in front of the truck got out came to the driver side and threw her to the ground and started yelling at her “do you not love me enough” he was beating her and all she could utter was small groans and moans until she passed out then left her there till the next morning she was barley conscious and she crawled into the truck and made it to the hospital but only barely she got there and fell out then nurses raced out of the hospital and carried her in the entire time her child had been strapped in the chair all night
she woke up a week later having been put in a medical coma the staff did not know what to do with the child she had no identification on her so the staff took care of the child because they could tell that based on the injuries his mother had they had to have been given to her

Review: this is an incredible book where as most of us will never be forced with this situation we can really relate to both main characters in completely different ways and in both characters we see the inner struggles of good and bad or life and death as they navigate this new world of having to “Glean” people aka kill them at some parts it can be a gruesome book but in the end its a really good book and reveals many truths about are own society as it touches on morales such as loyalty compassion and companionship Overall I really love this book and really look forward to reading the 3rd book that just came out I recommend it to any body who is looking for a good science fiction dystopian book that has never been done before That’s full off adventure
