People are capable of such hatred because humanity is stupid. It really is! I honestly dislike quite a lot of people. I hate fewer people. People hate other people with such a fiery passion, typically because either a girl or their personalities clash. Those are really the two main reasons. Or it’s because they killed your pet or something. I hate **** *****, ****** ****, **** *****, ***** *********, just to name a few. Is it a good reason why I hate them? Yeah, kinda. I mean they’re just annoying. They bug the living heck out of me because they think they’re all that and a bag of chips. Like ooooo aren’t you a doll. It’s honestly bugging me just to be writing about them. So on this topic, how do people put this hatred behind them? You don’t. Let’s be honest, you never really stop hating someone unless they give you food. Then after that they’re a dink again. Hatred isn’t really something you just get over. How to cope with it is just try to ignore their stupidity. Really, just tune them out. That’s how I stay one happy boi. Good luck out there.

Should Schools Still Teach Shakespeare?

I think schools still should. Students think that what he wrote isn’t relevant to today. But it actually is. Some teachers don’t teach Shakespeare because it’s “too hard” for the kids to understand. Mmmmm…okay, ya sure. Shakespeare is a little hard to understand, but isn’t that a good thing? When you read something that’s hard, you’re growing, you’re developing your reading skills. Plus in a job interview, it looks pretty good. “Oh ya, I’ve read Shakespeare.” “Oh really? Mmmmm hired!” And you say “great!” So overall it’s generally just a good thing to have read, at least ONE of Shakespeare’s plays.

Here he is. Ya boi

What I learned about people

I learned a lot about the person I interviewed. Jaden, congrats bro for making it through what you did! If you guys don’t know Jaden, ya should become better friends with him. Cuz he’s pretty cool. But during that interview thing, he really opened up and like he wasn’t trying to hide anything and it got kinda personal, but what he did was amazing. If it were me, it probably would’ve taken me longer to open up to what he said. I’m kinda closed off from people. Like I have friends and stuff, but I somewhat keep to myself. This interview taught me to trust people a little more and to open up a little. So Jaden, sup man. And Thanks.

What I don’t know about the people in this class

I don’t know a lot about everyone in this class. Let’s be honest here, no one knows exactly what everyone’s going through all the time. Sure some people are closer to people than others. Yeah, I get that. A lot of people don’t even know who I am. (In this school. Not around the world, cuz obviously not everyone knows me). Someone could’ve lost a parent or a friend and I wouldn’t ever know because I don’t know them. I want to get to know people better, I want to be the one that helps people get out of their depression and stuff. I love helping people and listening to their problems and helping them solve them. Anyways, that’s all I got.

Work Will Work When Wishy Washy Washing Will Not

At the beginning of the school year, I said I wouldn’t procrastinate work. That goal was stupid and didn’t work. Otherwise I’d have a much better grade than…..anyway. I think I did pretty good this year, however. I haven’t failed a class, so that’s a start (because grades count now). I still procrastinated work, but not nearly as much. I actually completed the “50 Book Challenge” this year. *Celebration popper goes off*. Yay! I should probably, for next term, just stick to my work and just do it. Like Nike. This goal isn’t 100% going to happen, obviously. But hey, we’re getting somewhere! This year has definitely gone smoother than 8th grade for me and I feel like I can handle High School alright.

What makes a person great?

What makes a person great is their personality and the traits they carry with them. Someone’s traits are one of, if not the most important thing in a person. Their traits help influence their personality at home and with different people. If you have a level-head as a trait, (keeping calm in stressful situations) then you will be the one people look to in these situations and you will be the one in charge. Things like these shape a person and direct their entire lives. If you act different with different people then no one knows who you really are. Including you. You’ll lose yourself by impressing others.

To Kill A Mockingbird review

The Book: The book was about racism in the south back in the day and just life in the south for two young kids. It starts by Scout (the main character) narrating where all this began when she’s older and it’s kinda like she’s looking back on a distant memory. The plot gets complicated all over really. It gets more intense when Dill (a character you’ll meet later) arrives. It gets more suspenseful when they try and get Boo Radley (another one of the characters that really drives the plot) to come out of his house. I feel like this book hits people’s emotions differently. All books do, really. I really enjoyed this book even though I didn’t think I would. It runs smoothly and has a really good story to it. The only thing I really didn’t like was the author went off on long tangents every once-in-a-while. And that the kids (Scout and Jem) acted a lot older than they were using big words or just talking like an adult would, and people their age wouldn’t do that.

The Movie: The movie “To Kill A Mockingbird” was honestly pretty good for the time period it was made. The actors they used for the movie fit the characters pretty well. The film followed the book pretty good, but they did cut out a lot of parts. Which is fine because the movie was already like 2 hours long. The movie didn’t really strengthen the book in any way except for it made the book easier to visualize. I really don’t have a favourite part of the movie, it was all good. I feel like they should’ve given more attention to SPOILER ALERT: when Miss Maudie’s house burned down and just other big events like that. I recommend this movie to whoever read the book, I guess. If you’ve read and liked the book, then the movie is always a good one to watch.

Good Stuff

“It’s not time to worry yet.” This simple phrase has come up in the book on multiple different occasions, and we still haven’t figured out why. Sure, we can predict why this comes up so much, but we don’t actually know. One of the things we speculate on this phrase is “something is going to happen and this phrase is going to have a huge meaning.” Which is more likely than not the reason. Harper Lee is trying to drill this phrase in our heads, but we don’t know why yet. Maybe she’s trying to open our eyes on this thing this thing that’s going to happen later in the book. Like another big theme/problem like racism. But then again, that’s just a speculation.

Real Courage

Courage is not baring a gun in your hand. Courage is not being brave. Bravery is different than courage, despite what people believe. Courage inspires bravery. Bravery inspires sacrifice. Sacrifice leads to death. Courage is knowing you’ll probably lose, but you do it because you know you have to for the good of everyone else. Bravery is knowing you’ll probably win and while you lead your men into battle. Bravery is not real, it is simply a statement to describe someone’s actions. Courage is a trait. A wonderful trait to have indeed. So as you can now see, courage and bravery are very different. Bravery doesn’t exist. Courage does. Live it to it’s fullest.

I think it’s worth trying. Even if he knows he’s already going to lose. What kind of a man would he (Atticus) be if he let this guy down by not even trying? I understand that some people are going to say, “He shouldn’t put his family through this torture.” I get that. It makes perfect sense to me why they would think that. He shouldn’t put his family through this. People will start to treat Jem and Scout differently if they know that their dad is a “n*****-lover”. People will start to bully Scout and Jem for this reason. But at the same time, why shouldn’t you at least try? If you’re really that against black people, then don’t. But black people are the same as us whites. He’s a lawyer, therefor it is his job to do whatever he can to defend a client. This is what he signed up for. Take that leap of faith
