What I Don’t Know About My Fellow Students.

I learned about my fellow students is the same thing I wrote about last time.  I have learned about people in generals is that we  are really judgmental people. What I have learned about people is that everyone has a story and has their own problems that they go through. We are blind to see other peoples’ problem.  What I don’t know about my fellow students at PGJR is them. I don’t really know them. I know of them, but I don’t know them personally. We should take time and look around, outside of our little bubble and learn something new about someone. We should take the time to know them, because it will make a difference not only to them but to yourself. You will meet someone and understand them more if you do.

Should schools teach Shakespeare

I believe that schools should continue teaching about Shakespeare. I might not be 100% excited to read something that is over 400 years old, but I believe that I could learn a lot from reading Shakespeare. Reading Shakespeare is good, because it will challenge my reading skills, and that will help me become a better student in English. Reading Shakespeare will also be relatable for now a days despite how old it is. It is good to read Shakespeare in school, because you expand your vocabulary. You learn new words that you didn’t even know that existed. It’s not just how educational, but it is fun for the students to read as well.

Love Moderately

I think Friar Lawrence is trying to tell Romeo and Juliet that to love moderately is to just be happy with each other. They don’t need to be so hype, because their relationship will end badly if they do that. I think it is good advice, because Friar Lawrence knows what he is talking about because he has been doing things for a long time and he sees what happens to those that don’t love moderately. I don’t think that Romeo and Juliet will listen to his advice, because we all know that they die at the end of the book, because they don’t think they will live without each other.

Hatred

I think people are capable of hating so deeply, because the person or thing is too much like we are. We can’t stand it, or at least I can’t. That’s the reason I find when I realize that I have very hateful feelings towards someone I barely know. My feelings are so irrational when it comes to this, because I can’t change that person I just need to get over myself.n I don’t think there is ever a good reason to have hateful feelings towards someone we don’t know. I think that’s just dumb. It’s almost like hating someone because of their hair color or the way the talk. Nothing of which we can change. We just have to “man” up and get over our stupid hatred feelings.

What I Don’t Know About My Fellow Students

What I have learned about people in generals is that we  are really judgmental people. We judge our fellow students before we actually know and sometimes it doesn’t even have to be our fellow students it could just be someone that we saw on outside walking their dog and we would just automatically judge them. What I have learned about people is that everyone has a story and has their own problems that they go through. We are blind to see other peoples’ problem. We are just so focused our what is going on with our life that we don’t take the time to see someone else. What I don’t know about my fellow students at PGJR is them. I don’t really know them. I know of them, but I don’t know them personally. We should take time and look around, outside of our little bubble and learn something new about someone.

Work Will Work When Wishy Washy Wishing Will Not

I accomplished a lot this year in my English 9 class. I have improved in writing essays and using ROAM+Predict as well. What I wanted to improve this year was my writing skills, and I feel like it has improved. There’s still time for me to accomplish my writing skills for writing essays and that will surely take time, so for now I just want to work up to accomplish my writing. What I struggle with is writing the blogs. I feel like when ever we have to write the blogs my mind goes as empty as some people’s refrigerators. I am working on the blogs though and I feel like I’m doing pretty good with it, but I think that will be my goal for next term is working on writing better blog posts.

What A Makes A Person Great

What makes a great person I think is a person caring and being kind to others. A person can’t be mean and unkind, because then I don’t think they can be qualified as a great person. A person that is great doesn’t need money or fame they just need to have empathy and show that they are patient and understanding.I din’t believe you can hurt people to hurt them just to hurt them if you are a “great” person. I do believe that a great person can have faults in their life. They can be able to make mistakes and still be looked at as a great person.

To Kill a Mockingbird Review

To Kill a Mockingbird is about a little girl named Scout and her brother Jem that live with her father, Atticus, that’s a lawyer. Scout lives when racism is still a big thing with the blacks. Atticus gets assigned a case where he has to defend a black man against the accusations of raping a white girl. . Scout will learn about how their town will come to justice and see how the world can be judgement. The book starts when Scout is six years old. The plot of the book starts to get complicated when Atticus is assigned the case of  Tom Robinson. The readers over the years love this book and believe it is a classic book that everyone should read. I don’t think the book lives up to its reputation.  I didn’t like how slow the book took to get to the point. What I did like was once you got to the point around the end of the book it was a page turner. I don’t think I would recommend this book, because it wasn’t that good I think.

The film of To Kill a Mockingbird represents the book pretty well I think. At the end of the film it really strengthens the message of To Kill a Mockingbird. My favorite part of the film was in the trail stages and Atticus throws a cup at Tom to catch. The movie I believe didn’t do the moviue justice, because it left out so many things in the book and it just made me mad that they left out some of those details I felt were important. I don’t think I would recommend this film to anyone as well.

Good Stuff

In the chapter 22 and 23 the quote “We’re making a step.” It’s just a baby-step, but it’s a step” is said by Miss Maudie and she is talking about how there is a very, very, very small change towards the black and how they are treated. This is changing like an inch in Miss Maudie’s eyes because they let Atticus have Tom’s case and Atticus is a really good lawyer. The judge let Atticus have a choice in the matter of being a black man’s lawyer and he agreed. Atticus is a really good lawyer and the court and judge let Atticus represent Tom in court. They let a black man have a great lawyer that proved his innocents. Miss Maudie knows that’s never happened and she is saying that the way we are treating black people is changing. It’s not changing hugely but it’s there.

An Authority on Courage – Cait

A friend of mine, Cait,  had a really hard choice to make that needed a lot of courage and wasn’t sure if she could do. What she did was she fought off a bugler that wanted to rob her neighbors. Her neighbors weren’t home adn she was the only one that saw what was happening over at her neighbor’s house. Cait didn’t think she had the courage to go over and stop the robber, and she couldn’t just call the police because her phone was died. Right out of the blue Spider-man web down in front of her out on the porch and gave her hand cuffs and gave her a pep talk. He said “You have the courage, your fears just hiding it. So push your fear away and go stop that robber!” Then Spider-man webbed himself up and away. Cait started walking over to the neighbors house and went inside the already open door an saw the back of the robber. She quietly walked behind him and snapped the hand cuffs on his wrists so fast he didn’t know what happened and she told him to sit still and wait while she calls the police with her neighbor’s phone. The end.
