Thoughts Questions and epiphanies

The biggest thought that I came up when reading both books is that society really hasn’t changed.  The only way for things to change is for a small group of people to be able to have enough courage to change.

My biggest question is am I one of the bad guys in the books?  In both books there were characters that you couldn’t help but hate.  They were rude,  mean and seemed to be the scum of the earth.  They tried to kill little kids and always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  Another question that I had was will our society ever change.  I know that some of you are thinking “We have changed, we aren’t racist, we don’t kill people because of what they look like”.  But you do.  When you see that person on social media that is a little bit over weight and comment “Wow you have put on some weight”.  You just in a way killed them.  We look at people and judge on what clothes they wear and how they look, what they do to style their hair and how long they have been in shape.  While doing that don’t we all count as bad guys?

  1. I love your thought so much because that is so true but some people are too scared to speak up or to share their opinions so they don’t say anything at all. But if we want to see change in the world we have to be that change.
