Word Nerd 1.6

Source: In the book the Mysteries of COVE, Fires of Invention, by J. Scott Savage, I found a strange word, notorious,  on page 10.

Context: “Soon he’d be as notorious as Leo Babbage, who’d exploded himself and part of an apartment building while illegally trying to improve a water heater.”

In Their Words: The word notorious means someone that is famous or well known, typically for some bad quality or deed.

In My Words: Notorious means someone well known for doing bad.
