In Laos, there is a field. In this field, in Laos, there are jars. This field, or plain, is called the Plain of Jars. Researchers have finally been able to research this plain, since there are no longer bombs everywhere. I mean, that they know of. Nobody really knows what the jars are for. Researchers think that the jars were used in ancient burial rituals, where the dead bodies were put into the jars and remained in the jars until emptied of fluids. Not a lot is known about this plain, since it used to be surrounded by bombs, but now they’re planning on putting a lot more research into it. I really enjoy this story, mostly because it’s a field of jars that’s also a national landmark.
