In the book to kill a mocking bird Atticus says that Mr. Cunningham is a good man who has blind spots. I think that all Atticus is trying to say is that he has his own way of doing things and even though they are not the best way to take care of issues he does not want Scout to think he is a bad man. I don’t think that you are necessarily a great person if you want to do something so terrible to someone. I do think that it depends on what you were taught and what your reasoning is as well.
