How I Feel About To Kill a Mockingbird

This book made me experience so many different feelings I don’t even know where to begin. I couldn’t stand the beginning. It was long, boring, confusing and just not my cup of tea in general. I fell asleep reading it almost every time so I honestly thought I didn’t like the book. My friend who had already read it reassured me though that by the end of the book, I wouldn’t be wanting to put it down. She was right. Reading it at home made me realize how much I actually liked the book. When I came to the realization that a “mockingbird” was just one big metaphor for people, everything else in the book just suddenly made sense to me. I get the hype now. I understand why almost everyone has to read it at some time in their life. It is a fantastic story and it really makes you realize the things you value in your life.

  1. Yeah the beginning was so slow and boring. It was insanely hard to read, but once you get to a certain spot, I think most people suddenly liked the book.
