Scout says this, and she is talking about all the people in maycomb, both black and white. She is right, too. Another way to say this is that humans are a lot like eggs, there are small ones and little ones, white eggs, brown eggs, even deformed eggs, but what I am describing is just the shell. If you take off the shell and take a look inside, there is only one type, egg. we are all human, so why do we fight about what we look like?
