I’ve been in Mrs. Waggstaff’s class for two years, so I have definitely read Shakespeare over and over again until my brain melts. He is a really good writer, he makes you think and it can become really deep. It’s also really sad, so if your feeling pretty down in the dumps I guess you can read some Shakespeare and feel pretty understood. But all in all, I think that we can learn some things from his writing, because there are definitely some hidden messages in his writing that we can take out. I’ve read some of his plays, and they can be really weird but that’s just how he is. What I think we can accomplish with reading Shakespeare is that we may be able to learn a few life lessons perhaps, and be able to become better writers in a way. He was a very weird man but he also knew some pretty valuable things that I think we should know ourselves.
