Quote: “For what it’s worth, you showed me something, Ultraviolet – there is such a thing as a perfect day.”
Context: Finch and Violet sneak out and spend all day together, ending up on the Purina Tower. They snuggle up and all that lovey-dovey crap. On accident, they fall asleep and spend the night up there. When they wake up they realize its morning and they start to panic. They run to “Little Bastard” and Finch races to Violet’s house and then to his. Then once his dad stops beating him, he goes to his room and checks in with Violet.
The backstory to it is Finch asks Violet if she thinks there’s such thing as a perfect day and they go into it. Then after this happens he says, “For what it’s worth, you showed me something, Ultraviolet – there is such a thing as a perfect day.”
This makes me think: I chose this passage because I thought it was cute I guess.
