Hi! I’m Sammy Smith. The first time I remember reading is when my dad use to try and teach us Spanish. He made us read these books that had pictures of objects and the Spanish term for them. Us kids would sit down, try and pronounce the words, then laugh at how wrong we said them. It was great family bonding. From there I read a couple Junie B. Jones books, then Magic Tree House, then at my peak, I read the Wizard of Oz. My favorite place to read is probably just my bedroom. I turn on the Christmas lights that I’ve strung across my bookshelves, and read. I have upgraded a little bit from my early first grade reads, and I now read regency romances and Distopian novels. My two favorite books are Blackmoore by Julianne Donaldson, and The Giver, by Lois Lowry. I’ve only ever been able to read one book at a time because I get too distracted when reading more.
