Book Review 2.2

I read the Knife Of Never Letting Go by Patrick Ness for the second time. There are 496 pages. It is my favorite book ever, I read the whole series and it is so good! This book takes place in the future so the genre is science fiction. The main character is a boy named Todd Hewitt and he is in this ‘New World’ from where he transferred from ‘Old World’. The town is called Prentisstown.. Except something is off about it. Its called the ‘Noise’. They realize that everyone can read each others minds except for the women’s, but they can still read the men’s minds. So the women don’t really exist anymore, and Todd is the last boy in Prentisstown. His only friend is his dog, Manchee, and they both go on a journey where they find something that’s never been seen in a long time. A girl. They continue their journey with the girl and a bunch of exciting and dramatic events happen throughout the story. I 100% recommend reading it. It’s even been filmed as a movie starring Tom Holland and Daisy Ridley but hasn’t been released yet. But I’m excited to see what that is like. What I really like about the book was the story line, I liked how creative and unique it was. I would have never thought of something like that. I couldn’t find much I didn’t like about the book, I mean sometimes the language or accents got confusing or annoying. But anyone who likes adventure, science fiction and action would really like this. I give it a 5 out of 5 stars.

I read these books a couple of years ago. What an awesome concept! I didn’t know it was being made into a movie. I’ll have to find a babysitter!
