Love Moderately

In Scene 6 of Act 2 of Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet, Romeo says some pretty idiotic stuff about how he loves Juliet before Friar Lawrence marries them. Friar Lawrence then tells them both that they should “Love Moderately” or something bad could happen. Friar Lawrence was telling them that their relationship is a little extreme and they should calm down a little. I think that the Friar was giving good advice; if you have too much of a “good” thing, it could end up being disastrous. I personally think that Romeo and/or Juliet will not follow this advice and end up in a bad situation.

I agree based on the whole idea of the story you can kind of guess that things will go wrong.

I think it’s kinda cool how he seems to be foreshadowing what was going to happen to the two of them.
