The Important Decision

“You suck Luke! You are the worst player ever!”

My face was as sad as a rainy cloud. I went home and said, “Mom I had the worst day ever! You will never guess how bad it was, it was the worst! Jared told me I was the worst player ever and that I sucked. He told me I should leave the team.”

“Mom, I’m going to quit!”

“Why? You love soccer! It’s the best thing in the world for you.”

“The players are being rude. They said I suck and they said I was the worst.”

“What are you going to do instead of playing soccer?” mom said.

“I don’t know… something else I guess?”

Whatever it is, I hope I can do something fun. I’ll probably just play some soccer in the backyard by myself so that I don’t have to play with my mean team.

3 days later my mom said, “Luke do you want to go to your game today? It’s going to start in 5 minutes.”

“Sure let’s drive to the game.” I wonder if my team is going to need me for the game. I hope they will. Afterall, I didn’t wear my uniform under my shirt for nothing.

“Let’s go sit down,” my mom said.

“Mom, they just got fouled! Our player is injured. They need me!”

Yes! Finally I will get to play. “Mom, I’m going to help them win the game!”

I took off my t-shirt and showed my jersey. I was ready to win. I was so happy, I ran to the field.

“Hey guys! I’m here, what do you need me for?”

“We need you to play center.”

“It’s time to go! Luke we have 5 Seconds left. Ok we got this guys!

I passed it to my friend Steve. He Passed it back to me. I shot as hard as i could. The goalie barely missed it.  Goal! I

scored the winning shot. We won the game!

After the game my team felt bad and told me they were sorry. I told them it was okay. The finals are next week and we’re going to crush the game.

The end.
