Blog #6: Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo

The AED represents the Grisha Heartrenders’ healing abilities, especially since they can affect peoples’ hearts.

The scaffolding is similar to the many instances given in the book where Inej climbs on a rooftop or on top of scaffolding in a building.

Six of Crows heavily reminds me of the book Mistborn, mostly because of the heist planned and the thieving crews in the underground. In both books, there is a girl who comes from a bad part of the city and manages to help everyone else by using her unique climbing and thieving abilities.

This tree reminds me of the sacred ash tree in the Fjerdan lands that Kaz destroys. I imagined it similarly to this, but with more snow around it and bigger.

I already read the book, and I think the author did an excellent job of balancing character development, backstory, and plot. Bardugo was able to ensnare me within her grasp as the story continued on. This was an excellent book and I’d recommend it to anyone who likes Mistborn or fantasy.
