What Is My Code? “The Limits of Empathy” Article Response
I really like Atticus’s code, that he lives by. It is, “You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view”. I really like it, because I can see something, and my neighbor can see something completely different. Because we grew up differently with different beliefs and different experiences. When I look at a chiropractic, I think of my grandfather. While someone else can look at it as just another medical office. Which is so weird. Yet if I seem something awesome that I love, someone may relate it to a bad experience. So I love that code. I always live by the “Treat others how you want to be treated”. Or the “Be the person that everyone knows would never say anything bad about anyone” I try my best to be like those.
